Mayor denies POGO connection

Sual, Pangasinan Mayor Liseldo Calugay denied having a relationship with Duanren Wu and Cassandra Li Ong, two people related to the raided Philippine Offshore Gaming Operator (POGO) middle in Porac, Pampanga.

Ong is the authorized representative of the POGO corporation Lucky South 99, and Wu is her boss and godfather.
“Wala po,” Calugay answered when asked about his supposed connection to the two at a Senate Committee on Women, Children, Family Relations, and Gender Equality hearing with the Committee on Public Order and Dangerous Drugs.

Calugay said the recently dismissed Bamban, Tarlac Mayor Alice Guo, joined the meeting with several staff members, some of those he did not know.
Calugay had denied having both a love and a business relationship with Guo, stating they were merely acquaintances.
Guo also said that she has no relations with Calugay.
Ong and Wu are facing qualified trafficking accusations with the Department of Justice.
Senator Sherwin Gatchalian earlier claimed that Wu was already leaving the country.
