Magpapatuloy ang pagbagsak ng eroplano malapit sa bunganga ng Bulkang Mayon sa Biyernes ng umaga, ayon sa alkalde ng bayan ng Camalig sa Albay.

Sinabi ni Mayor Carlos Irwin Baldo na dapat nilang ibababa ang mga katawan ng mga biktima sa Huwebes, ngunit ang mga problema sa lupain ay napatunayang mahirap.
“Mahirap talaga yung padoon, yung area, kasi pag inaangat nila nang kaunti yung body, medyo dadausdos pababa yung mga boulder doon. Kaya hindi mababa,” he explained.
Sinabi ng local chief executive na ang mga retrieval team ay nakakuha ng mga larawan at video sa lugar, at nakuha pa ang ilan sa mga gamit ng mga pasahero.
“Ang plano po natin ngayon, kasi hindi na kayang tao lang ang walang kinakapitan, maglalagay po tayo ng mga bolt and mga expanded bolt, idi-drill po natin yan sa mga bato, kung may mga stable na bato doon…para kung sakali man yung tao natin ay (may) hahawakan,” he said.
Matatagpuan ang crash site sa elevation na 3,500 hanggang 4,000 feet sa west side slope ng Mayon.
Ang Cessna 340 na eroplano ay nawawala noong Sabado ng umaga, 3 minuto lamang pagkatapos na lumipad mula sa Bicol International Airport.
Sakay ang isang piloto, co-pilot, at 2 Australian national na consultant ng power firm na Energy Development Corporation (EDC).
